Emergency Planning Committee
The EPC mandate is “To prepare for any emergencies and to communicate to Antrim Glen residents information allowing them to prepare for emergencies.”
Part of the committee's plan is to identify residents who may require extra support during a community emergency, along with potential resources. Your explicit permission will be required on the survey to collect this information but don't worry, it will be used to administer safety plans only and will not be shared with the community at large or with any outside groups or agencies without your express permission. Please watch for more news and in the meantime, if you have any suggestions please contact the Committee Chair, Glenna Scarlett.
The Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) was first discussed by the Antrim Glen Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors shortly after the December 2013 ice storm that crippled most of this area and left some people out of their homes for 4 – 5 days. A committee was formed and our community was organized into various zones, each with an assigned block captain.
July 2017 - UPDATE
The committee recently held their annual election of officers, the following residents have volunteered their services.

72 HOURS – ARE YOU PREPARED
If you have read this booklet you will know what a valuable asset this is to all homeowner’s.
After the December 2013 ice storm and subsequent power outages for a good part of our community, the Antrim Glen Homeowner’s Association decided it was time for this community to have an Emergency Planning Committee of its own. There is one now in place to support “Neighbours Helping Neighbours”.
The EPC feels that this booklet is a very good source of basic information for us to follow. You will be receiving additional information regarding specific plans for Antrim Glen in the coming months.
If anyone inadvertently threw out their copy we have obtained more copies if you wish to have one. Just contact Margann Huff at and she will be happy to supply you with another one.
